Practice Index Web Site – Resources and Forum

Practice Index – free web site for GP Practice Managers

Take a look at the Practice Index web site which is also free to join and the developing Resources section. Recently I have added a Resource Document to help those Practice Managers panicking before a CQC Inspection. The forum section also has numerous discussions (threads) which are well worth a read. A thread about whether GPs are awarding their staff pay rises this year is proving to be both fascinating and quite revealing about how GP Staff have become the ‘poor relations’ in the NHS. The Department of Health simply says that GPs are entitled to run their own affairs. I wonder what the voters at the General Election would think if they realized that whilst GPs are paid extremely well their staff are NOT.
