So we have a new Government and a new Health Secretary who thinks the NHS is broken. How insulting that is to all those good people who strive to do their best to provide a national healthcare service .

People provide that service not money.

Good Training has developed that service.

What is spoiling the service is the loss of the ideal that general medical practice is a vocation. The question is whether we need to look at the priorities we choose to deal with first.
I don’t want to hear there are no appointments today. I want to be dealt with now and today. I don’t want a list of alternatives.

My Practice helped me today get a very overdue clinical review that was probably 9 months late.

I don’t want to hear you can ring 111. OR Will you ring again tomorrow.
